Enlightened but
Lethally enmeshed
Via poverty and a needy mother.
In spite of early trauma
Skyrocketed to fame.
Pelvis twisting and leg shaking
Reeled in audiences with
Enthralling talent and charm.
Shared his wealth with
Loved ones and strangers.
Ended life too early
Yet lives on through many today.
